After graduating in 2017 with a BA hons in Fine Art from Falmouth University Lillian Thomson has worked from her studio at Krowji. She is a recipient of the Cultivator Graduate workspace and studio award and the Porthmeor studios Transitions residency. Thomson has exhibited throughout the UK as well as being one of the co curators behind 'Island', an exhibition showcasing 20 emerging artists from around the country.
Thomson creates semi-figurative works inspired by the objects that surround us, through mark making she investigates the possibilities that live within these possessions. They carry a residue of what once existed, yet possess the ability to take on a new form and narrative.
