In Talks with the Mine - Michell's Engine House, East Pool Mine, National Trust

 

In this new installation of artworks, Rachael Coward and Lillian Thomson directly respond to Michell’s Engine House and surrounding area. With paintings, collages and ceramic sculptures, they explore the symbolism of boundaries, closely focusing on the point of interaction between industrial materials and natural forms.
